Open House
On January 26, 2012, MSD hosted an open house at the North Presbyterian Church in Northside to introduce West Fork Watershed residents to the concept of sustainable stormwater management and to unveil the proposed West Fork Project.
More than 40 people attended the event, which featured seven information stations related to Project Groundwork and the West Fork Watershed. MSD partnered with public and private agencies to plan and staff the event.
Participants also learned what they can do to help improve water quality and keep stormwater out of the sewer system. MSD raffled off a rain barrel to a watershed resident.
